5 Living Presidents Recite the Gettysburg Address


150th Anniversary of Abraham Lincoln's Speech


In the Video the 5 living Presidents: Barack Obama; George W. Bush; Bill Clinton; Jimmy Carter; and George H. W. Bush are joined by famous celebrities of all walks of life to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the Gettysburg Address by reciting the historic words President Abraham Lincoln delivered on November 19, 1863.



Documentary film maker Ken Burns started the 2013 'Learn the Address project' to encourage all American's of all ages and backgrounds to learn the Gettysburg Address by video recording themselves reciting Lincoln's speech.

Burns has been producing films for PBS for over two decades. His PBS Documentary Film "The Address" will be out in the spring of 2014. More about the film and it's inspiration.
